Waiting on Wednesday / Can’t Wait Wednesday

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted here, at Wishful Endings, and my version is a mix of what I’m waiting to read, whether it’s a new release that is not out yet, or an older book on my TBR shelf, which I really want to read but haven’t got around to it yet.

Here’s my ‘Can’t wait to read’, book for this week:

I Looked Away by Jane Corry | Alternative-Read.com

THE GRIPPING NEW THRILLER FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF MY HUSBAND’S WIFE AND THE DEAD EX

Every Monday, 49-year-old Ellie looks after her grandson Josh. She loves him more than anyone else in the world. The only thing that can mar her happiness is her husband’s affair. But he swears it’s over now, and Ellie has decided to be thankful for what she’s got.

Then one day, while she’s looking after Josh, her husband gets a call from that woman. And just for a moment, Ellie takes her eyes off her grandson. What happens next will change her life forever.

Because Ellie is hiding something in her past.

And what looks like an accident could start to look like murder…

What have you been wanting to read?

Why am I looking forward to this? It sounds like such a quick and easy mistake – to look away – but for the accident to happen in those few seconds, and to then be accused of murder for life? I wouldn’t want that to happen to me!

Is this on your TBR or have you already read it? What your ‘Can’t wait for’ book? Do let me know in the comments below. Thank you!
