MY FIRST THOUGHTS

This is great fun! And I totally love the different book covers. They’re in fact the same book only with different covers! When I asked the author, Paul Nicholls, why the different covers, he very kindly answered :

“I came up with the idea of having different book covers so that the readers have a choice of what appeals to them the most. Some people like dragons some like unicorns or dolphins. There are so many different magical animals in the book that it just seemed like a fun idea to put different ones on the front cover”  😊

Which is your favourite book cover so far?

  1. Nice cover! It’s not usually a genre I read, but I’m intrigued. I’ll have to check it out on Amazon. Thanks for the heads up. Have a great weekend!

  2. Thanks for sharing this book, and also for your constant support of books and book bloggers. I’m so grateful. I like the second cover – but they are quite similar. And i often can’t choose between the prologue and the intro, so I get it when others share both. Have a great week.

    1. You’re very welcome and thank you for your kind words, Bev! Yes they are quite similar, I thought about that too, and think the author is aiming to keep them similar so they do look like the same book but different versions. It could be that if they look too different they might look like completely different books, But I’m just guessing here lol. Have a lovely week, too! x
