Just in case you can’t see beyond the first photo, here’s the Friday 56 sentence below:
A Proclivity to Prurience: Obsession Comes With a Price
Finally, many years later, the wedding of her best friend’s daughter leaves Abbie frustrated when she and Joe are forced to take her inebriated son home early, impeding her night with long-term interest, Jesse, but Joe has his chance, albeit, with devastating consequences: the sudden death of Eddie compels a grieving Abbie to flee from the memory of the events of that traumatic night but time with Jesse to compensate for her missed opportunity and a chance encounter with a sympathetic, elderly lady, whose anecdotes strike a chord with Abbie, bring her back.
The story focusses on how Joe deals with his obsession from a young age, with a constant stream of women and men and increasingly more sordid encounters, and the repercussions of Abbie’s sudden disappearance, pushing his anger and appetite to extremes, whilst Abbie’s own appreciation of younger men, seemingly coinciding with Joe’s appearance in her life, forces her to choose between him and Jesse.

MY FIRST THOUGHTS
I can tell this is going to be an interesting and exciting family drama with a difference, because it’s also quite dark and erotic, too! Although, I’d class this as erotica, it’s much more than that, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this story takes me. 🙂
Have you read this? What are you currently reading?
I can’t wait to visit your blogs to find out.
Have a great weekend, may your books be with you!
