In an idyllic house in a Swedish wood, Merry and her husband are building their new dream life with their young baby, far away from events that overshadowed their old life in New York. And they’re happy, aren’t they? Blissfully, blissfully happy.
When Merry’s childhood friend Frances comes to stay, Frances barely recognises her old friend Merry, pureeing baby food, baking, living the Swedish dream. MY FIRST THOUGHTS
I recently featured this as my #WaitingOnWednesday post, which you can find here. The reviews were mixed, because of the style that is is written in, I think, more than the actual content. So it’s a ‘Marmite’ book, you’ll either love it or hate it – there seems no in between. I’m a lover not a hater lol
HAVE YOU READ THIS?
I can’t wait to visit your blogs to find out. Have a great weekend, may your books be with you!

Going against the majority so far, I like the second cover. I also like the premise, but I can see how the voice could take some getting used to. Hope you continue to love it.
