First thoughts

My First Thoughts?

I must confess I had this post almost ready to publish for a couple of weeks, but weirdly Fridays seem to never go as planned! Yesterday, however, I thought ahead lol Not that I don’t usually, but I do have a new feature calendar for all to see, and that does help motivate me to keep planning ahead and scheduling posts, which is great!

This book has to be one of my all time favourites, as a fan of the series, and the books, The Complete History of Secret Organisations – just finished off A Series of Unfortunate Events – nicely!

It’s a really smart coffee table book, even for people who are not fans, because it is set out in an intriguing way, with heaps of colourful pictures, drawings, inside information about the stories, the character and behind the scenes. I. LOVE. IT.  🙂  And that is pretty much my review… lol

  1. I’m currently reading a murder mystery set in Paris, Cara Black’s Murder in Bel-Air. It’s quite good. It’s the 19th in the series, and the first in the series, Death in the Marais, is excellent, as are all the others that follow.

    1. That sounds like fun. It’s actually really nice to be able to get through a long series and enjoy them like you do too, Harvee!

  2. This does seem like it’d be a fascinating read! I love that picture of the “Table of Discontents”. So colorful! Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

  3. It’s amazing that you’ve delved so deeply into this series. Of course, it is such an original and creative one it deserves it. Thanks for taking us along on the ride.
