Hopefully, above, you can actually see my Instagram picture!

This book has SO MUCH more to it than I expected! Honestly, it’s not just another domestic thriller.

It’s my current read and I regularly update my reading process over at Goodreads! Do join me. I know I say this a lot, but I really love Goodreads lol.

If you have already read this book, what did you think? Feel free to link up your review to this post!

  1. Hi Sassy,

I must admit that from the premise and the small snipets I could glean from your pictures (that’s a very sneaky way of sharing your lines by the way!), I was really intrigued by this one and as I love a good thriller, I was beginning to get quite excited.

Then I happened to check out the book on Goodreads and my balloon was well and truly burst when I saw some of the terrible ratings and reviews.

If reviews are generally quite mixed then I don’t tend to take too much notice of them, as a book is so personal to the reader. However, when the comments are so consistently disappointing, you just have to take notice, so I won’t be adding this one to my list, although I am interested to know what you think about it!

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend 🙂

  2. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I really like The Pearl Thief and think you will, too. Though it is identified as a YA title, I think it actually will be liked by adults better. It is set in Scotland and the main character is such a flawed, lovable gal. Glad to see you are enjoying your current read.
