The Friday 56 (With Instagram 56 & Book Beginnings)
Into the Water by Paula Hawkins!
is my feature book for the #Friday56 Bookish Meme with Freda. I’m also taking part in Book Beginnings, a weekly meme hosted by Rose City Reader.
I actually had to stop reading this for a short while, while I got on with other things (life, huh?) so I’ve recently started this again and now I am well and truly into it! How many of you have read this? Is it as good as it is hyped up to be? I can’t wait for you to read this, or to read your review to find out what you thought! Meanwhile…
Here are a couple of sentences from page 56:
I used to do this – creep next door – when my parents slept here, when I was afraid at night, when I’d had nightmares after listening to one of your stories.
Book Beginnings:
There was something you wanted to tell me, wasn’t there? What was it you were trying to say?

I have seen this book around *a lot* and I’m sure I even have it on my kindle. Sucks when life gets in the way of reading though.

Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I like this quote. It makes me want to 1-click.
That’s lethal – I’m forever 1-clicking! lol
I still haven’t read Girl on a Train. Maybe I’ll get to it one of these days. This week I am spotlighting Say You’re Sorry by Melinda Leigh. Happy reading!
I’d say both are good, but then that’s for you to find out lol Oh, Melinda Leigh… popping over now 🙂
Everything about the book appeals to me.

That’s great, Sherry 😀 Hope you get to read it!
Oh yes! I want to read this one. My poor book budget. LOL
My Friday 56 from The Best Seller
I have this book and hope to read it soon! Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog. Enjoy!
This looks great. I also hate it when life interrupts my reading – so annoying!!
Sounds like my kind of read!! Happy weekend!
Fantastic first line. I saw a video chat with the author recently and want to read it as well. Hope life settles down so you can finish it.
I too have yet to read ‘Girl On A Train’, or indeed, watch the film, so I know little about the author’s style of writing or plot building, only what I have gleaned from the reviews of my fellow book lovers.
The trouble is, I could go on adding literally hundreds of books to my list, without hope of ever actually reading even a small percentage of them!
I’m just a sucker for a good suspense thriller 🙂
Yvonne
Thank so much for coming by my blog! And you just creeped me out with the F56 of your read 😊
I thought that the Girl on the Train was very good. SO I hope you find this book very good, too. My Friday Quotes
Thank you!

Here’s my Friday Reads
Well, so far, yes, so good. Thanks for popping by!
I love that we’re seeing more thrillers in the mainstream authored by women. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
Yes, it’s really a great thing! (Think I missed this comment, last week… oops!)
I listened to it on audiobook! I didn’t think it was quite as good as The Girl on the Train, but I still really enjoyed it.

Makes me wonder what it would be like via audio. Thanks for commenting. I missed this comment last week… 🙂
