Lydia Curry has been in love with her “hierophant” since she entered his class three years ago. Too bad he’s got such a hang up about younger women. And Galen is the only person who may be able to save her from the danger she has unknowingly placed herself into by slipping on a ruby ring from the collection she’d been hired to be curator over. Perhaps she shouldn’t have dismissed the older psychic’s warning quite so quickly.
As a tenured professor, Galen Forsythe spent WAY too much time worrying about what other people (including his son) thought about him, what he did and with whom. But it appeared Lydia wasn’t going to let him get away with that- not if he loved her, anyway. Now something
has invaded the woman he loves and is threatening to destroy not only her life, but his world. Luckily Jason was there to help him figure out how the psychic had meant him to save Lydia.
Nothing like a bit of evil to turn a stick in the dirt into a bit of a mud puddle. I liked the fact that all the fears of a relationship were espoused from both sides of the characters. The fullness in addressing the insecurities of both parties, while delving into the paranormal realm, HOT sex games and the fact that when the chips are down love is UP made for an interesting, fun read.
