Poor Charles Kennedy, UK Lib Dem party leader! He announced he is a recovering alcoholic a few days ago and now the inevitable has happened and he is being forced to stand down. But the media is being so harsh it’s unbelievable! I bet if you analyse all the MP’s there’ll be many who indulge in drink and drugs, but will they be open and honest enough to admit it?
As political assassinations go, Charles Kennedy’s was the most public and in many ways the most brutal in recent memory.
